This is a unique Esfahan rug from central Persia woven circa 1910. The field is made up of a mix of designs: from arabesque motifs incorporated with a center vase to blossoming flowers that travel up to the top of the rug. The field displays a unique cream colour. The rug has an extremely fine weave with a silk foundation and a wool pile.
