An antique signed Isfahan Rug woven in central Persia during the first quarter of the 20th century, this rug is in perfect condition and it has all of it original fringes. The design of this rug is the classic “Eslimi” vine design found in many Isfahan carpets with a Persian blue background. The border of this rug is it’s most unique feature giving it a very royal feel with its contemporary yet traditional design. This rug is woven on a silk foundation and wool pile that uses asymmetrical knotting.
