Traces of Order is a collection of four rugs designed together by Andrea Bonini and Steve Leung for Sahrai. A partnership of excellence, rooted in a shared vision of luxury: artisanal, cultured, quiet, and long-lasting.
The collection explores the concept of order not as a rigid rule, but as a trace—signs that move through architecture, space, and memory, expressed through geometry, structure, and layered surfaces. Each rug is an independent chapter, yet part of a single story, where East and West naturally meet.

The Color Palette
The color palette of Traces of Order is driven by an evocative desire for calm, warmth, and intimacy, designed for the home as a place of balance and comfort. Colors are inspired by nature: earthy, mineral, and soft tones, warm and enveloping shades that recall stone, soil, natural fibers, and surfaces shaped by time. The palette is designed to embrace the space, never to dominate it. Each rug helps create a calm and reassuring atmosphere, offering visual harmony and emotional comfort, in line with a timeless idea of living.
