This is a square Agra rug from Northern India dating circa 1880. It has a large scale border that dominates the rug’s design. The field has an allover floral design with large scale palmettes. The colour combination is lively with lots of reds and golds. This rug is finely hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with a wool pile and is available in: 

• 182 x 173 cm 

Condition: Overall Good Condition with some areas of low pile consistent with age.
