This is a semi-antique Peking rug woven in the eastern part of China during the second quarter of the 20th century circa 1930-40s. It has a simplistic open field design with no motifs made with an ivory background colour. It also has a highly simplistic blue border with only two blossoming branch motifs located in the bottom right and top left-hand corner which uniquely enough begin to intrude into the field.

This rug has been woven on a cotton foundation using all wool pile and comes in:

  • 90 x 63 cm
