DETAILS

This antique Ravar Kerman was woven in southeast Persia circa 1880. It has an allover pattern that utilises both medallions and a strong floral design elements. The border also uses both medallions with a floral background. The colours used in this rug are pastel tones and uplift the the intensity of the design. 

This rug is finely hand-knotted in the finest wool and cotton.
