This is an antique Malayer rug woven in Central Persia at the beginning of the 20th century. Its field has an all-over Herati design set on a dark background colour with predominant shades of red which is a classic feature of Malayer rugs.

This rug is finely handknotted on a cotton foundation with 100 % wool pile and is available in:

• 200 x 111 cm
