This Antique Heriz carpet was woven in northwest Persia around 1890-1900. It has a powerful allover geometric design with a small square in the center replacing the traditional medallion. The design of this piece breaks the normal drawing of Serapi carpets especially the large semi flowers flanking its center. This rug has jewel tone colours that are highly desired and sought after. 

This rug is finely hand-knotted in the finest wool and cotton.
