This is a Sarough antique rug from central Persia woven circa 1920’s. This piece has a a traditional central medallion and an overall dark colour palette. The center and the corner medallions have a vibrant pink colour that brings some contrast against the deep dark blue field colour. The border is a typical Sarough design with alternating medallions. 

This rug is finely hand-knotted in the finest wool on cotton and is available in: 

• 192 x 122 cm
