Sarab

This antique Sarab rug was woven in northwest Persia circa 1890 featuring a unique design only found in Sarab rugs. This rug has a central medallion in a camel hair field featuring repetitive shrub motifs. The border has a more geometric design with crab motifs and a large camel hair cutter border.

This rug is finely hand-knotted in the finest wool on cotton and available in: 

• 398 x 324 cm 

Condition: Overall Very Good Condition with some areas of low pile consistent with age.
