This Kashan antique rug from central Persia was woven circa 1920. This is a vase design combined with the tree of life design.  This piece displays a vase with blooming exotic flowers at the bottom center and two trees of life flanking the vase. These trees of life start from the earth and rise into heaven towards the center of the top of the rug featuring exotic flowers, birds, and a peacock. This rug is made from 100% silk foundation and silk pile and uses asymmetrical knotting.

Condition: Overall Good Condition with some areas of wear consistent with age.
