Kashan Silk

This is a pair of antique Kashan rugs from central Persia dating to the 1930’s. It is quite rare to find a silk Kashan from this time period and finding a pair is even more extraordinary. These rugs have a classical Kashan design with a center medallion and a floral field.  This design has high saturated colours which uplifts it. Although not identical, the designs are very close and hence considered as a pair.
