Heriz

This is a Heriz rug  from Northwest Persia woven circa 1910-1920 and part of the Heritage Antique Collection of by Sahrai. It has a unique colour palette with the use of sky blue in the central medallion and the border. The contrast with the red is quite stunning and makes this a very unique piece. This Heriz has a cotton foundation and woven with wool pile.
