This is an antique Lillian rug woven in Western Persia circa 1930. It has a highly stylised all over floral design with center vases that have blossoming flowers. The rug is very spaciously drawn resulting in bold design elements. It has an overall darker colour palette that is broken up by the bright yellow color in the field and the two yellow borders. The main border follows the field design with stylised floral motifs connected buy an interconnecting vine design.

This rug is finely handknotted on a cotton foundation with 100 % wool pile and is available in:

• 187 x 157 cm

Condition: Overall Good Condition with ano signs of age.
