One of the traditional runner rugs in the Collection, this Kerman runner rug from southeast Persia was woven circa 1920’s. Kerman runners are extremely rare. This piece features a plain background in cream colour with an intricate border composed of floral motifs . The rug was woven on a cotton foundation with wool pile using asymmetric knots.
