This is an antique Silk Kashan from central Persia woven circa 1910 – one of the small antique rugs in the Heritage Antique Collection. This rug uses what is called a Souf technique where the foreground of the rug is woven with silk pile and the background is woven with silk in a flat weave technique. This unique piece has a tree of life design and finishes at the top with the classic Mihrab and is finely hand-knotted in the finest natural silk.                 

This rug is available in:

Condition: Overall Good Condition with some areas of wear and repair that are consistent with age.
