This is a antique Khotan rug from East Turkestan dating circa 1880. It has a vase design with pomegranate trees emerging from the vases. One of the major borders is made using stylish medallions interconnecting with vines. The other major border is a multi-coloured cloud design This rug is finely hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with a wool pile and is available in:

Condition: Overall Good Condition with some areas of wear consistent with age.
