This is a Peking, one of the Chinese antique rugs from Eastern China dating circa 1900-1910 featuring an unusual design with a dramatic central medallion consisting of geometric cloud band and floral motifs. The border is a typical Peking design with palmettes and a connecting vine design. The tobacco and blue colour contrast is stunning. This rug is finely hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with a wool pile and is available in:
