This is an antique Peking rug from China dating circa 1900. This rug has an allover design with blossoming shrub motifs spread throughout the field. The border continues with the same floral motifs and blossoming flowers with cartouches with different traditional chinese motifs. This rug is finely hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with wool pile.

Condition: Overall Good Condition with some areas of low pile consistent with age.
