This is a large Peking rug from Eastern China dating circa 1950 with an allover field design with floral and vine motifs and medallions spread throughout the rug. The colour combination is soft and therefore makes a rug of this size a quite subtle addition to your space. It is surrounded by a border with a geometric design. This rug is finely hand-knotted on a cotton foundation with a wool pile.
