Founded in 1930, Pininfarina has evolved from a craft-based company into an international service group, representing the pinnacle of automotive style and a well-established presence in industrial and experiential design, architecture, yachting, and mobility beyond the automotive sector. Their common vision made this unique collaboration possible and revealed the creation of never seen before Rugs.

The Materia Collection is made of progressive design for prestigious innovation lovers, through the use of inventive materials such as wood, carbon fibers and lighting inserts on rugs. These new rugs and the use of unusual materials reveal the sublime level of graphic design, constant research, unique tailor-made products and real handicraft that characterize Pininfarina and Sahrai Milano.

All Rugs: Idea, Luce and Acqua were launched for the first time at Sahrai Milano’s Stand during Salone del Mobile 2024.
