This Antique Heriz Silk Rug was woven in northwest Persia circa 1880. The background is a rare powder blue colour with unique motifs within the border. The field has a double niche design with a rare and highly saturated colour palette and large bold motifs expertly placed to be spacious at the same time. This rug is finely hand-knotted in the finest silk on silk.
